After renovating our client's parent's home in Frankton, Queenstown; we were asked to create a design for two homes in Wanaka.

With access from the North and a site steadily sloping up to the South, most designs on the street dug the rear of the home into the ground to create a flat surface.

We opted for a different approach, having the garage set down at ground level with the house being elevated to provide better views and access to sunlight.

The main outdoor living space is sheltered from prevailing winds and connects directly off the living area and master suite to allow a fantastic, private entertaining space and views above other homes.

We were really pleased to find this home referred to a number of times in a local Developer's design covenants.
